Shop For Stylish Maternity Swimwear

Posted by Kero at Tuesday, March 20, 2012 1 sweets for Kero
If you want to go on holiday, irrespective of destination, you need plenty of forward planning. Getting spending money together, buying essentials such as suntan lotion and sunglasses and making travel arrangements are all very important. However, packing is also vital, and knowing which clothes to take is sometimes problematic. When pregnant, going on holiday, even for a day trip to the seaside has its difficulties, such as knowing which clothes to take. Anything with the word ‘maternity’ such as maternity bras is usually a safe bet.

You might not believe it, but there are many items of maternity clothing that can be worn during the summer. The image of plain stretchy pants and oversized shirts may enter your mind when asked to sum up clothes for pregnant women, but items like plus size bras often serve to help whoever’s wearing them to look good as well as feeling protected and comfortable. The variety of maternity clothes made today has never been greater.

Maternity swimwear is a must-have for any mother-to-be who wants to keep exercising while carrying their child. Like many other items of maternity clothing out there, it not only protects your stomach from the elements while swimming, but it’s also comfortable, durable and looks just as good as conventional swimwear. A maternity swimsuit would be perfect for taking to the beach on a day out, just as a treat while going on the rollercoaster ride that is pregnancy.

There are items of beachwear suitable as maternity clothes. One such example is a jersey cover-up, which helps to cover up your bump perfectly, while also being lightweight yet elegant. For women who were only a few months into their pregnancy but still had a noticeable bump, a holiday was off-limits due to a lack of suitable clothing, but this has changed. Now, with an ever-expanding range of maternity clothing for summer, they can go out wearing comfortable, accommodating clothes which also look fantastic.

Help With Buying The Perfect Gift For Your Partner

Posted by Kero at Saturday, February 25, 2012 0 sweets for Kero
Buying a unique, long-lasting and appreciative gift for your loved one often requires a lot of thought. You have to think what gift would speak to their character, and you also want to avoid giving them a clichéd present, regardless of whether it’s for their birthday, Valentine’s Day or even your anniversary. Thankfully some retailers such as Ann Summers don’t sell clichés.

As sellers of items such as lingerie and anal sex toys, Ann Summers provide a huge number of gift ideas for all sorts of occasions, each of them guaranteed to put a wide smile on your partner’s face. Buying your partner something from their range could help to take your relationship to the next level and, perhaps, a gift from their shops or website could be for the enjoyment of both of you. Even a single item of sexy lingerie could do that perfectly.
Buying erotic lingerie from Ann Summers is ideal for an occasion like Valentine’s Day. If there’s a day that’s designated purely for couples to spend quality time together, surely it must be February 14th. Whether you decide to buy the woman in your life everyday items like a bra or pair of knickers, or something less conventional like a corset, basque or even a babydoll, if made using the right materials and colours, they can’t be bettered as a present.

Although lingerie is likely to feature quite prominently in a Valentine’s Day gift idea guide for men, it’s a massive improvement on a cheap bottle of perfume of a limp bouquet of roses from the nearest 24-hour petrol station forecourt. Sexy lingerie not only looks good, but it’s comfortable to wear and, in the case of a handful of items, can help to make the best of your assets by making your breasts appear larger.

Lingerie alone is a great gift, but if you want to buy something that strays even further from clichés, then Ann Summers have a surprisingly long line of anal sex toys for sale. These include anal beads, dildos and butt plugs, which come in all shapes and sizes. If you want something a little more playful, then you can buy fancy dress costumes, games, funny t-shirts, sweets, board games and other light-hearted gifts which will make great presents. Ann Summers have over 140 branches across the UK, Republic of Ireland and Spain, all of which will stock something which is bound to intrigue you.

Accessorize Your Cell Phone For Less

Posted by Kero at Monday, February 13, 2012 0 sweets for Kero

Our mobile phones nowadays are an extension of our personality. Not only do they serve as means of communication but they express our style, status, and ultimately life choices. I will share to you today some ideas on how you can dress-up your cellphone without breaking your budget.

First, look for budget cell phone case. They are very popular as rubbers or hard casing which also function as protection from scratch or when you drop your phone accidentally. Designs vary from bold colors to leopard print, sports emblems and including insignia of your favorite house of fashion.

Next, when your phone is all dressed up, find a convenient way to carry it while working, exercising, dining, or shopping. Buy those belt clips so you can easily reach for you phone. High street stores also sell those pretty cell phone pouches that you can wear around your neck.

Then enhance your mobile phones capability. Whether sound or photo, or prolonging your battery life, it pays to buy a little more for your phone to get the most out of it. Buy a car charger, a Bluetooth device, or add a memory card. Check and compare online for best deals. I bought my current LG mobile accessories from LowerPriceUSA.com

Lastly, ensure the accessory you choose is compatible with your phone. Always refer to your carrier's website.

Red Leather Sofa For A Trendy, Festive Home

Posted by Kero at Sunday, December 11, 2011 0 sweets for Kero
Do you want the quickest way to make your home ready for the holidays? Start with the basic red-hot leather sofa.

Few uses red in interior design. Red is a flaming color which gets noticed. It is for the proud and brave. But a few also know that it will also save you money since you don't have to buy so much festive decorations. You no longer need to stress yourself with bringing in a giant Christmas tree to make a focal point in the room because your red leather sofa is the focal point.

How then do you decorate around it? The trick is to tone down everything else.

An exclusive leather sofa from SCS

1.Your living room walls should not compete with your sofa. Paint it in light neutral color.

2. Enhance your leather sofa with a plush white rag or throw a pillow with holiday decor.

3. If you wish to create a modern feel, opt for glass as statement pieces. Glass top on end tables, glass vase, an entertainment system covered in glass.

4. Balance everything. Have  a red frame or hang Christmas stocking or red curtain on your neutral walls.

5. Don't forget the fresh flowers on your vase. Your living room should stand out not blend in.

Shopping For Sunglasses

Posted by Kero at Wednesday, November 23, 2011 0 sweets for Kero

Black Friday is fast approaching and on top of my must-buy list is a pair of sunglasses. I broke my last pair of aviator two months ago - probably from too much travel and heat temperature. It's taking me awhile to find the right pair because I like to take my time and choose wisely. I am also sort of picky on frames. While some ladies go gaga with an expensive bag, I on the other hand, cherish eye wear. It's an accessory I absolutely cannot live without.

Even on a bad hair-day and I must go out to face the world, I just put on a huge pair and my spirit seems to soar. As fashion queen Victoria Beckham said, "Sunglasses hide a multitude of sins." And I thorougly agree. Even if you didn't sleep well last night or you don't have the time to put on mascara - or your false lashes for that matter, you still look like a Hollywood star with the proper, exquisite frame.

I found this website called Glasses.com where I enjoyed browsing their stylish collection of women's sunglasses. But before I go further to add on my shopping cart, let me just share you some tips on how to buy a pair of sunglasses:

1. A good pair should block 98% of ultra violet light to avoid any eye ailment. After all, the ultimate purpose of sunglasses is to protect our eyes.

2. Choose polarized lenses as they permit only vertical light rays to pass through them, not horizontal, and thus they reduce glare.

3. Are you going to wear it everyday like I do in this perennially sunny city? Make sure you are comfortable on the colors of the glass before parting with your cash. Most sunglasses have grey lenses because grey is a neutral color hence making it comfortable for eyes. While red, brown, and yellow can be trendy at times, they can distort color.

4. While a stylish frame makes for the over-all impact of a sunglasses, make sure it is also durable and lightweight - especially if you intend to stay hours and hours lounging on the sunbed or playing golf.

I am currently looking on Glasses.com for a wrap-around model which I think are quiet neat on the face. They also provide thorough glare and dust protection as it eliminates them from creeping in around the lenses.

We Are Going 70s

Posted by Kero at Thursday, October 27, 2011 0 sweets for Kero
Whew! The Halloween Costume Party invitations are pouring in. The latest one to arrive is from Hubby's scuba diving club. And they are giving a grand prize of one night stay at a splendid 5-star hotel to the couple in best costume.

I'd like to win of course. I need a weekend getaway to unwind. But Hubby just don't understand the fuss about the costumes. I hope that is going to change this year. I am not going to let him be himself for a change lol! He's been doing that for years - every Halloween party - so come on! I am not going to be the only one theatrical next week.

Last night after supper, I tried to pull off my convincing powers and managed to talk to him about his costume. He dreads the topic. Always do.  But I steered the conversation to his birth year the 70s. Think 70s stye fancy dress, Afro wig, flared trousers, groovy disco, the heavy rockers KIss, or simply be a crazy hippy guy. He thought  for awhile and when I was about to faint for waiting his answer, he agreed. I breathed out a long sigh of satisfaction and danced the footy jig hehehe.

So here I am looking online for some accessories and costume inspiration. I found two costumes and will let him choose later tonight. Have a look:

A groovy disco dancer costume.

Or 70s funky colored suit complete with platform shoes, yeehaa!

As for me, I hope looking for sexy costumes would be easy. I want something shiny inspired by the Dancing Queen.

Secure Parcel Delivery Boxes

Posted by Kero at Monday, June 06, 2011 0 sweets for Kero
A week ago, I missed a delivery from FedEx because I was at Geant Hypermarket doing weekly grocery. I felt terribly disappointed because the shipment from Kirkman Laboratories was already a week delayed due to inconsistent airway bill. Dubai Customs would not release it because there was  a huge discrepancy on the total amount appearing on the commercial invoice. After days of sending e-mails and begging Kirkman, their international representative was able to fix it and the shipment was released. Only that I missed the delivery.

So here I am again waiting. That is one minute disadvantage of online shopping. You have to be there when the delivery occurs. Maybe I will ask Hubby if we can install one of those Asgard secure parcel delivery boxes I see on shopping network. It is made of high quality, rust-free, and weather-proof metal with secure locks. Some boxes are even equipped with special key-locks that are password-enabled.

I think it is worth buying a parcel delivery box large enough to accommodate books, CDs, and gift items because when the holiday comes, I will be ordering most of our family Christmas gifts online. Also I want to start early for holiday shopping and take advantage of discount offers.

Invitation To A Baby Shower

Posted by Kero at Wednesday, June 01, 2011 1 sweets for Kero
I received a lovely baby blue envelope yesterday from our neighbor. It's an invitation to a baby shower for expectant Mom in our building. I really admire the ladies for their efforts, you know. When husbands leave for work and kids board the school bus, they gather on the courtyard with their mug of coffee and plan the day. I sometimes watch them through the French window while blogging. They've asked me twice to join them but oh gosh, I am always busy with write-ups.

I feel guilty now so I gotta make-up for a nice present. I spoke to the preggy Mom and she's a picture of a healthy pregnancy. This is their first baby and like any excited parents, they are buying all sorts of cute baby clothes and toys and feeding bottles. I asked if there is anything else they haven't bought and she said that they're still deciding on the crib and mattress. Apparently, she is reading through crib mattress reviews and when she became aware of the hidden dangers, she thought it best to consult baby experts before buying.

Well I want to give the family something that will last long so here I am also brushing on crib mattress ratings before heading to a Mothercare store tomorrow. I asked another Mom on the third floor if we could share on the gift and she agreed. She's also one busy Mommy, she does part-time photography so she asked me to look around and then we will half the bill.

Dive Into The Season's Sexiest Swimwear!

Posted by Kero at Wednesday, April 06, 2011 0 sweets for Kero
This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Express for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

With year-round sun in Dubai, a staple in my wardrobe is a swimwear. I probably buy one or two swim suits every year. I try to experiment with different brands and for the current year, I am buying on American fashion retailer, Express Advertisement

Since they branched out in The Dubai Mall two years ago, I immediately became a fan. They offer clothing for both men and women but I particularly adore their sophisticated weekend outfits. When I heard that they  were launching their new spring women's swimwear I just knew it will be a perfect excuse to buy a new bathing suit. The collection is fabulous with its bold hues and body-loving shapes.

I am eyeing this leopard print beach wear and I know it will look fantastic on our next weekend getaway. We are a family who loves beach and water parks so we are looking to spend our 5th wedding anniversary next month in Jumeirah Beach Hotel. We are  fan of Jumeirah Hospitality and my little boy just goes crazy in Wild Wadi!

Now here's a special treat for you my dear readers. If you are a legal resident of United States and above 18 years old,  sign-up on Express e-mail for a chance to win one of ten $200 Express gift cards. The sweepstakes rules are simple - no purchase is necessary to enter or claim prize. All you have to do is sign up and you have until April 21, 2011 to do so.  Good luck!

Affordable Tickets and Sports Trophies

Posted by Kero at Thursday, March 24, 2011 0 sweets for Kero
It's spring and time for some sports clinic!

For all NBA fans, you can visit http://www.bostoncelticsticketservice.com/  for all your ticket needs to support the Boston Celtics. Now who is up for some soccer trophies?

Our regional organization's annual sports clinic is scheduled on April. We will not be able to join because of Hubby's work schedule but our family is assigned to buy trophies in recognition of the winners.

After a considerable amount of time searching online, I found a a professional supplier of awards called Trophiesales.com. They offer premium trophies, plaques, medals and awards for all occasions on a suitable budget. I am looking for Tennis Trophies and Softball Trophies and these are what I found from the website.

There are also talks of baseball games for younger people so I am also on the lookout for baseball trophies. Hubby was very glad to hear about my finds online. When he learned that I did not blew the budget for trophies, he is now considering buying corporate awards for his design staff. They do appraisal every six months. As a token for the best structural designer and best design engineer, he gives them awards in forms of gift vouchers. This time though, a corporate plaque like the photo below, can be given as recognition.

Shopping For Patio Set

Posted by Kero at Wednesday, March 23, 2011 0 sweets for Kero
Our family friends will be celebrating their 7th wedding anniversary next month. Since it is spring time, they have decided to throw a small barbecue party at their new villa. They recently moved to their new house with  a beautiful backyard garden so this will also serve as a house warming party.

I learned all about the details when they invited us last night for a dinner. Although P (the wife) and I rarely see each other, we do ask and value each others opinion when it comes to party planning and entertaining friends. They already bought a huge electric barbecue grill and now  she is asking me to go shopping with her for patio furniture set because her husband will be away for a business trip.

Fortunately, I recently came across a website called FurnitureForPatio.com where I learned tips on how to buy patio set. One has to visualize the chairs and tables and determine the lifestyel in mind. After deciding on how much you will spend, learn the materials that best mirrors your style. If you want a Victorian feel, you can buy the wrought iron. If you want a romantic vision on your garden, wicker will work.

P and I further explored the site comparing styles and designs. She is now imagining entertaining friends on a classic lawn chair, enjoying the barbecue and cocktails. Apparently, she is now calling the upcoming celebration a patio picnic! I can't help but feel excited as well =)

Gifts For Her: Eco Friendly Diamonds

Posted by Kero at Tuesday, February 08, 2011 2 sweets for Kero
Come Valentine's Day, there is no better way to sweep your loved one off her feet than a gift of beautifully cut diamond. It is the ultimate symbol of love and commitment.

However, diamonds are uber expensive because mining them entails a lot of risk both to the environment and the people concerned. You have to dig deep into the earth just to get one carat. These holes leave an ugly scars on the eco system, pollutes the environment, and adversely affects the health of humans and animals around the area.

I come in good news today because you no longer have to bear guilt on buying diamonds. There is a growing trend right now about man-made diamonds. A diamond seed is placed in a laboratory with  carbon environment. It is allowed to grow molecule by molecule just as it grows deep in the core of the earth. This makes the eco-friendly jewelry identical in every aspect to the real mined gem.

Moreover, while colored diamonds are rare and far more expensive, lab grown gems come in variety of colors such as green, pink, blue, and red. Lastly, because of the least environment impact, these man-made diamonds are far more cheaper making 14th February Gifts easier than you thought.. This is your chance to sweep your loved one off her feet this Valentine's Day with  a stunningdiamond that won't break the bank.

Contemporary Bedroom Furniture

Posted by Kero at Friday, January 07, 2011 2 sweets for Kero
It's been a week of a brand new year. After vowing on those lifestyle resolutions, do you have any new plans on home improvement? I know a couple who are looking to buy a new sofa bed because their previous one got soiled after they hosted a grand New Year's Eve Party hihi.

On a shopping note, I got red-hot news for you as I found a fantastic website that specializes on European contemporary furniture. It is called Go Modern Furniture and they are based in London. Their vast array of products include bedroom furniture, living and dining room furniture, garden furniture, and children's bedroom furniture. Yes, they also have bedroom wardrobes to match your black bedroom furniture, mirrors for your vanity desk, lighting, and of course the famous Murano glass.

Bonaldo Squaring Alto Bed

I have a thing for bedroom furniture so it is the first selection I visited. And oh my, they are gorgeous! Although I've always been fascinated with four poster beds, I wouldn't say no to a luxury leather with tall head board. But it has to be in color white - wide, welcoming, and plush with just a dash of the season's color. Pastels on spring and summer, jewel hues on winter. I can dream on..

Bonaldo Giotto Swivel Bed

And if a manicured English garden can be seen from your guest room's floor to ceiling glass window, how about a swivel bed? Stylish and always one step ahead! Your guests  will undoubtedly be delighted for the experience. The bed sits on a  round base which allows a 360 degrees swivelling mechanism. I also think that this uber contemporary bedroom  furniture will make a very interesting focal point in a beach house.

Yes, Go Modern ships international. Add them to your must-visit shopping site.

Stocking Filler: Panerai

Posted by Kero at Tuesday, December 14, 2010 0 sweets for Kero
Chatting with my friend S last night, she revealed how she is enjoying my stockings filler posts. She went on to say that I should go get one for myself since I do not wear any time piece. I rely on my Blackberry to tell me if it's lunch time. S, however is fiercely devoted to her Cartier accessory. She even pulled the strings for me to attend the 2010 Cartier Exhibit at The Dubai Mall.
S works for luxury retail here in Dubai so she gets discounts and freebies every now and then. She is generous to share them that my birthday and Christmas presents are always from the French fashion house. She just arrived from a holiday and I know she is late on her Christmas shopping. So last night during our conversation she asked what brand of watch do I fancy lol!

Perhaps I am saving for a Panerai watch. Our family goes snorkeling and swimming a lot that only a  submersible watch will work best for me.  I want something elegant, yet sporty, and with an attitude.  Panerai watches are known to have large illuminated dials and tightly sealed steel casing. Their reputation started when they were commissioned by Italian Navy in 1860's to create a watch that can be easily read underwater.

But the thing is they are very rare. They are produced in a very limited number of pieces that they almost have a cult-like following.

Stocking Filler: Patek Philippe

Posted by Kero at Monday, December 13, 2010 0 sweets for Kero
I received my copy of Holiday Gift Guide from a popular Paris-based department store yesterday. Although I recently heard that the Hublot is one of the most sought after watch, I learned that many sophisticated customers -- especially those that are fascinated with history of time piece -- opt for the brand Patek Philippe.

The exclusive Patek Philippe Store in Dubai Mall

Patek Philippe was established in 1851 and dominated the Swiss watch market for over 150 years. They are credited for inventing the "Perpetual Calendar" which as we all know now, keeps track of how many days in each month and knows when it's leap year. The luxury brand can also boast that from the 53 auctioned watches, 50 of the highest prices ever paid for were Patek Phillipe.

Patek Philippe has a store in The Dubai Mall.  For pre-owned authentic Patek Philippe, you can visit Essential-Watches.com

The March Is On!

Posted by Kero at Thursday, December 02, 2010 0 sweets for Kero
In two days, two bosom friends will tie the know at St. Mary's Church. This will be the first wedding we will attend in Dubai and since Hubby is given a special role, we've been shopping around for clothes to match the pink and white motif.

I found a pink long-sleeved shirt at Ted Lapidus for Hubby. It greatly complements his new striped burgundy necktie so shopping for him was very easy. I, on the other hand chose to look for a white dress because it is more versatile. I mean I can still find some events to wear  white, right?

But what do you know, winter is the worst to go shopping for a white cocktail dress. I went to Zara, Mango, Splash and River Island but dresses were in jewel tones of purple, dark pink, and  jade! For three days, I went from one shopping mall to another and set my sights on a summery pink floral dress from Carrefour. Hubby objected and we went back to Dubai Mall tonight. And there in my old favorite store New Look, I found the dress on a mannequin hahhaaa! Good thing that the store was giving a 25% discount for the weekend.

And we are all ready now. We will be meeting the future bride and groom tomorrow for a special lunch and I am oh so excited to see the glittering engagement ring! We missed their engagement party because we were on a holiday. The groom-to-be previously related that he spent days and nights reading and getting tips on engagement rings. He is so knowledgeable now that the bride-to-be left him to decide the style and type of metal for their wedding band lol!

Currently, my favorite words are: Product Shipped. =)

Since the successful arrival of a watch I purchased online, I am now joining the numerous people trawling the net for online deals. The latest good news I can share with you my dear readers is an online shopping apparel that offers wholesale clothing. It is called ApparelCandy.com and they are based in Los Angeles, California.

Their wholesale products include dresses (with plus sizes), skirts. tops, jeans, accessories, cosmetics, and perfumes. Being a huge fan of shift dress, I share with you my top picks from their uber budget friendly collection.

Unit Price: $7.00  / Prepack of 6 $42.00
A white/cream dress is a must in sunny Dubai so I always make it a point to buy them in winter where they (together with summer clothes) absolutely sell at a cheaper prize.

Unit Price $7.00 / Package of 6 $42.00

I love the flirty, fun style and the metallic burgundy hue which is so bang on the trend this festive season. The dress is perfect for those office parties or ladies night outs.
