Andreas @ socials

Posted by Kero at Tuesday, June 24, 2008 1 sweets for Kero
We are reaching another milestone this weekend. Andreas will be six month old on Thursday. Hooooray!

I still have no idea how we will celebrate it. I noticed that some celebrate the occasion by having a cake in honor of the baby. But boy, with the series of birthday parties we attended over the last two weeks (with two more coming up this weekend), a cake is the last thing we want on our table. Besides, Andreas is still very young for sweets so he will not be enjoying it as well.

Maybe we will just buy him a new book or a new toy. Maybe even a ball. He likes playing and wrestling with the balloons given to him so we will definitely buy him a ball. Anything that he will be able to enjoy for a long time.

And speaking of birthday parties, i want to share with you all the kiddie parties Andreas was invited over the last six months. Ganito pala pag may baby na. You have to set aside funds for gifts haha. Aside from the parties hubby and I attend, we see to it that we also bring Andreas to his own social obligations. Counting all, my barely six month old attended seven parties!

Here are some of the pictures. Enjoy!

Marhaba!

That means welcome in Arabic.

Thank you to all for the continued visits. I know i haven't logged in for months but that is because we moved to a new place. In between birthday parties, road trips and unpacking our things, i am squeezing a post while listening to David Cook. Yay! I just love listening to his version of Hello.

Anyway, I am loving our new place. It has a huge window overlooking Sheikh Zayed Road. It is spacious enough for Andre to play and practice his walk. He can use his swing and best of all, he has playmates.

But before i go on ranting, i want to thank Artemis for adding me to her blogroll. I will include you to my links as well. To Jan's Coffee Break, my apologies for missing numerous session. Anyhow, i am back and i miss writing so much that i look forward to another meme.

It is 5:15 p.m. here. Hubby will arrive in an hour and Andreas will be awake anytime now. Our rice is cooking by this time, so i just have to slice some veggies to go with our sirloin steak. Got to go now, people. Thank you again and i leave you this snapshot from our new place.
