The past two weekends had been spent entertaining visitors. Thank goodness for our trusty oven and tested recipes, there is always something to serve on the table.
(Vina's Digiscrap)
These girls are my ka probinsiya from Batanes. They visited us Thursday night and we feasted on yellow rice, roasted duck, and the vanishing mudpie (recipe soon to follow). Then we had smoked pork sausage and brie as we drank Jose Cuervo. Thank you to hubby for teaching me how to drink it the proper way. I guess all i know along is a gin and nestea hahahaa.
Above is with Sarah, the following weekend. She tasted some of my oreo cheesecake and i made some berry muffins while we gossiped (*_*). Morning, we took her to nearby Zabeel park and made some snapshots.
Barely an hour after Sarah left, hubby's ka probinsiya from Ifugao called and said they are on their way to visit us. I was still nursing hangover from last night's tequila with Sarah but somebody must get up to cook for the boys. They cleaned up the oreo cheesecake and hubby served them smoked pork loin while I made blueberry muffins and the vanishing mudpie. They kidded for some take away and i gladly indulged them. Too bad i was not able take pictures of them sipping some brandy.
Maraming salamat po for remembering us through these years. Balik balik kayo!!
