This week, my take for letter I is Vatican Museum's overwhelming interior. I share with you some random photos. Visiting means you’ll see more pieces of ornate marble housed in and around the museum than you’ll ever see in your life. And as some critics say, it is a reflection of the Vatican’s ruthless ability to zealously ‘acquire’ just about anything.
We spent three days in Rome but on the second day, I could not look at one more statue. My eyes needed a sea view or something alive and green that we opted for a day-trip to the Italian countryside.

Thanks for sharing these pictures. I really like these this kind of arts, it's amazingly beautiful.
...such an amazing place! Beautiful captures!
Incredible pictures. I would love to go there. I would also love to see the Vatican library, but I have absolutely no chance to get there - although my chances of working there would be even worse, that would require a sex change :)
Wow! I had no idea the building contained such beautiful details. A wonderful tour!

inviting and interesting place to visit.
Ah yes, the Interior of the Vatican, especially when seen on the same day as St Peters... can certainly be a bit of an overwhelm of beauty. But I've been there a few times and will gladly go back again.
Thank you for the tour. A truly beautiful place and great take on the letter I.
gorgeous indeed

Beautiful museum. The paintings are gorgeous.
It is so beautiful. I've never had any desire to see the Vatican, but now I don't know ...if we go to Rome, and have enough time...
Certainly worth seeing, I should say.

Great pictures of the roof, I remember my visit there 3 years ago when we had to join one of the numerous walking tours
Wow, what an extraordinary place! How lucky you were to visit! I can well imagine that you became a little jaded with statuary - I'd have been the same.
