Weekends are sometimes spent on volunteer programs. Last Friday, my husband and I joined the annual Clean Up Arabia. Thousands joined and scattered all over the emirates shoreline to collect waste and debris from the beach and the sea.
I am 34 weeks pregnant but insisted on doing the clean up so I have to stay on the
beach with fellow non-divers. In my sack were beverage bottles (plastic, glass, cans),
stirrers, plastic cups, forks, spoons, plates, batteries, diaper, and cigarette butts.

Our certificates. This is our second year to join the Clean Up Arabia and
we plan to do so for many more years.
