Happy Wednesday people! I share with you today a breakfast i prepared for Andreas. Since he turned 18 months last week, i noticed an increase his appetite maybe because he is constantly running and jumping around. So instead of the usual rice, viand, and fruit/vegetable, I see to it to add another viand.
There is a square of grilled salmon fillet, thoroughly cooked sunny side up, rice, and a slice of cucumber. My son is a dedicated meat lover like his Dada but i'm glad that he is now devouring his share of fish - a rich source of DHA fatty acids that aids brain development. The egg, i'm scared about salmonella so i always serve it to him well done. The cucumber served as fruit, finger food and to satisfy his gums. I think his molars are about to come out one of these days.
Andreas ate it all - the salmon, rice, cucumber and egg yolk. Mommmy added the egg white to her plate.
