Things To Buy and Save Up For

Posted by Kero at Thursday, January 14, 2010
We are living credit-card free for nearly a year. Gone were the days of impulsive buying. Not even when the shelves shout Reduce To Clear. Or my other favorite words Further Reductions. We have not made any big purchases for the house because we pretty much invested on basic appliances. From food processor to vacuum cleaner, oven to automatic washing machine, dslr to my gbook, we have everything else that makes the household run smoothly.

So on the personal side, I am listing down what each of us needs to buy. It will save us from spending on unnecessary things. With January sales everywhere and the Dubai Shopping Festival next month, again, we need to plan and prioritize where our precious dirhams are spent.

For Hubby

1. A pair of Levi's. He's doesn't so much care about any other brands. But when it comes to jeans, it's 501 or none at all.

2. Underwater Camera or an underwater case for our Sony Cybershot.

3. A pair of boots.

For Andreas

1. His first bed

2. Piggy Bank

3. Jeans.

For Mummy

1. A new phone.

2. Handbag.

I have not discussed this with hubby so weekend breakfast will probably spent discussing which will not make it on the list =)

Yay to almost credit card free life. I am trying to achieve the same. Normally, I use my card na lang for bills payment and when I purchase tickets online (for convenience).
