Toddler Meal # 8

Some say that one of the best things in Dubai is the cheap Lebanese food. Apparently, they cost more in other areas of the middle east and European places. Our family enjoys Lebanese cuisine - especially hubby. When we eat out these, it's only either Subway or Karam Express. Andreas too loves the taste. We first gave him the chickpea soup and he gulped it all at six months. Over the weekend, we stopped by Dubai Mall food court. Andreas was asleep the whole time we ate so we brought home his share.

That is boiled potatoes (which i cooked) and lamb stew. Some people cannot stand the smell of lamb but we think it is so muck like pork too - only tastes more wild and exotic haha. And somehow, Lebanese has a certain way oc cooking it that there is no smell at all. Andreas ate it all and wanted another serving which i gladly obliged.

Potatoes these days are more regular in my 18-month old's diet. When he was little, he refused to have another spoon of it. I guess because it is sticky and stucks on the roof of his mouth. So i served it chunky and he likes the texture better. Also as we all know, potatoes are far more healthier substitute for rice.
