black and blue diamonds

Posted by Kero at Wednesday, November 28, 2007
I removed my wedding ring last week because my fingers are really swollen now. As I was cleaning it this morning to stash it properly on my jewel box, I smiled, admiring hubby's choice of our wedding band. It is made of smooth 23k devoid of any design except for a one small diamond embedded on the ring to know which part should go on front. This aroused my curiosity on the gemstone so I researched to learn more about it.

Diamond is the hardest known natural material. Its hardness and high dispersion of light make it useful for industrial applications and jewelry. Consequently, it is among if not the most popular material for engagement and weddings rings giving rise to diamond empires around the world.

But did you know that the glittering, shiny, colorless diamonds can come in any color? I personally think that the colored ones are even more beautiful and glamorous. I checked on MySolitaire.com and I was amazed with the range of black diamonds they offer. The website is an online jewelry store that specializes on jewelries and diamond engagement rings. I searched further to see if they have a collection of black diamond rings and what a marvelous sight! They come in all sizes and shapes and sizes and the styles are so dramatic! Black diamonds, I learned are from outer space. So if you are looking for an out of this world love band, this gemstone is perfect for you and your partner in life.

MySolitaire.com also offers exquisite blue diamonds. Yes, this is the same gemstone they used for the necklace in the movie Titanic. Remember the Heart of the Ocean? Well, maybe you will not get the same cut here but you can design your own jewelry inspired by this, because MySolitaire.com is also among the few jewel stores that allows you to create your own designs.
